Akamai and Telstra Broadcast Services join in supporting the 2018 Women In Games Awards

Telstra Broadcast Services along with Akamai will present the Esports Achievement category at this year’s Women In Games Awards presented by Xbox.

Both companies have a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion and promoting women in technology and sport.

In addition to helping Trade Media to allow women, and non-binary industry members, to attend the event for free, their sponsorship will include $1,000 presented to the winner of the Esports Achievement Award. This financial award can be used flexibly towards further training, travel to a local or international event or for the purchase of new equipment or software.

Nominations for this year’s Women In Games List and Awards are open now, and will close at 5:00 PM AEST on Friday, June 29, 2018. You can submit a nomination for yourself or a colleague here.
