EA has partnered with Microsoft to deliver EA Access.
EA Australia has revealed an all new subscription service, but only on Xbox One. The service is being rolled out in beta to a limited number of users today but will launch to all Xbox One users ‘soon’.
‘EA Access’ will attract a monthly subscription fee of AUD $6.99 or an annual fee of AUD $39.99. The annual option will provide the service for a little over $3.33 a month.
Membership includes ‘The Vault’, which is a collection of EA’s biggest games on Xbox One that will be available to download and play. Currently users on the beta roll out will have access to FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4.
In addition to the games currently available in ‘The Vault’ the service offers a 10% discount on a number of purchases, including; upcoming full digital download titles (Dragon Age: Inquisition and NHL 15) and additional membership services (Battlefield 4 Premium and FIFA Ultimate Team Points).
EA has also announced that subscription members will have ‘Play First’ access, allowing you to play a host of titles up to five days prior to their AU release.
