After record-breaking launch, leading into its incredible first week as the game sailed past 25 million players, Apex Legends is leaping from one milestone to the next. Most recently exceeding 50 million players in just one month since its announcement.

Not only is this figure staggering in and of itself, but considering the context surrounding the game’s launch, it’s an achievement that reaches beyond any previous game release. Apex Legends has only been available to consumers for one month, however, it has also only existed in the public eye for the same period.
Apex Legends launched February 4th, reaching 1 million players within 8 hours, impressive. However, it becomes even more staggering when you consider those 8 million players had only learnt about the title via rumours (at most) days prior to release.
This sudden surge-conversion from awareness to consumer engagement despite no pre-release campaigning is unprecedented within the gaming space.
Apex Legends is showing no signs of slowing down, and with plans for new content emerging, it is exciting to see a new title sit alongside the battle royale mainstay Fortnite.
