EA is welcoming its newest addition in the form of Arbie Artinian, who joins as the Regional Marketing Manager for EA Sports.
Artinian is an industry heavyweight, having spent a year at Vivendi and coming to EA from his previous role as the Business Unit Manager for Call of Duty at Activision, where he worked for four years.
Simon Smith-Wright, Regional Marketing Director for EA Asia Pacific, told MCV: “I’m thrilled to have Arbie join us at EA within our Asia regional marketing team. With a strong pedigree in both video game and FMCG marketing, as well as being a passionate soccer and all-round sports fan, he’s a great fit for managing our EA SPORTS portfolio across Asia.”
“Arbie joins us as we approach the launch of FIFA 13 at the end of this month, which promises to be our biggest FIFA launch on record in the region. FIFA has evolved ever further into a true year round brand across every platform. Hence our marketing shifts too towards true brand marketing, becoming data led and managing the FIFA portfolio 365 days a year in multiple channels. It’s great to have Arbie leading that with his experience.”

Artinian is an avid sports nut himself, into everything from basketball to Brazilian Jiu-Jitzu and everything in between.
And of course, football (soccer). He’s a Liverpool fan.
