Most likely due to dismal Xbox One sales in Japan, Microsoft will not be at Tokyo Game Show, reports Japanese publication Famitsu.
Microsoft launched its console last September in Japan with lack-lustre results and it has only got worse in time. Last week, the Xbox One only sold 149 units in Japan, compared to 15,000 PlayStation 4s and 10,000 Wii Us.
Tokyo Game Show is the Eastern equivalent of the E3 Expo and open to the public for half the show days. On its final day last year, it’s attendance reached over 100,000.
