Mammoth Media has announced that the AusGamers website will relaunch Monday with a complete redesign.
AusGamers is one of Australia’s longest running online gaming publications, surviving the first dot-com crash, hosting LAN events and building itself into a one-stop files source.
The site’s Managing Editor, Stephen Farrelly told MCV Pacific, “We’re thrilled to be taking AusGamers to the next level.”
“AusGamers will continue to deliver the best editorial, video and files content we can, but with an updated and fresh new look. It’s time we ushered ourselves into this future thing everyone has been talking about, and our relaunch and redesign is just the beginning.”
AusGamers also recently cut ties with media agency MCN in favour of working with You Know Media, and independent upstart headed up by Ryan Cunningham.
“We’ve always been proud to be a large, independent publisher here in Australia and so it felt right to connect with an independent media partner, and You Know Media had all of the qualities we were looking for,” Farrelly adds. “Their representation of us in-market has already been outstanding which was a huge prompt to fast track our relaunch.”
The new look site launches Monday, but will continue to be tweaked and update over the coming months, working from user feedback.
AusGamers also plans to expand it’s video delivery, ANZ indie support and coverage, and will continue to push more unique and exclusive content.
