The publisher has thrown its support behind this year’s event, presenting the Creative Impact Awards.
Bethesda’s support has helped Trade Media make attendance free for Women, and non-binary industry members.
Additionally, the winner of this year’s Creative Impact Award will receive $1,000. This investment could be used towards, further training, travel to a local or international event or for the purchase of new equipment or software.
Speaking with Trade Media, ZeniMax Australia’s Managing Director, Simon Alty said, “It’s such an honour to support the Creative Impact category of the Women in Games Awards. We are constantly blown away by the talented women in the Australian and New Zealand development industry. Specifically, it is wonderful to see so many new and innovative ideas in games narrative, design and technology being pioneered by women games makers, which in turn drives the whole industry forward.”
