Business In Games puts out call for Women In Games mentors

The Women in Games Mentor Course by Business in Games is in need of mentors from across the industry for its third intake.

Presented as a 3-week online interactive webinar-style format, the course has been designed as a springboard to empower Women with connections and information in order to progress their talents within, or to enter, the industry. The course is made available to Women at no cost.

The course is currently limited at 25-students per intake, due to the Q&A heavy format. To date, the course has accepted over 70 students, hearing from nine different speakers.

Speaking to MCV Pacific, Business In Games Founder, Chris Smith said,  “I was thinking for a long time on how Business in Games could actively contribute to the promotion of diversity and the up skill of women in the tech work space. The launch of our Women in Games initiative has been met with wonderful feedback from our students – feeding back to us that it has given some the confidence to move onto greater things within their chosen craft, or that it has helped them start on their journey.”

The current intake will experience Week 2 next Monday. The next intake to open on July 2 – Business In Games are currently seeking mentors for this.

You can find out more information on the program here, and if you would like to volunteer as a mentor you can reach out to Chris Smith on email (chris@businessingames.com).
