IEM Sydney 2019 will see the return of Australia vs England, as current and veteran Australian and English CS:GO players take the stage in the third annual, “The Caches”.
Australia has claimed victory in both meetings, with Chad “Spunj” Burchill’s team boasting a resounding 16-6 win in 2017 and launching a mammoth comeback to claim last year’s event 16-15.
Speaking on its return Buchill said, The Caches is one of the most popular fixtures of IEM Sydney, along with huge vocal crowds, and top-notch CS:GO. We’re proud to represent Australia, and hit the Brits for six on our home turf, serving as a prelude to the CS:GO final on Sunday May 5”.
IEM Sydney will be held at Qudos Bank Arena from May 3 to 5 this year.
