CheckPoint kicks off Good Games Done Slow for mental health awareness

CheckPoint kicked off a week-long fundraising event over the weekend, with a focus on raising mental health issues, helping those in need, and reducing stigma.

The event, called Good Games Done Slow (or #GGDS) includes streamers, friends and content creators from around the world coming together and showing how games can be used to promote positive wellbeing. Resources will be provided to streamers and their audiences and participants are encouraged to integrate wellbeing and peaceful games into their streams.

Running from September 15 – 21, anyone interested in #GGDS can register on Tiltify to help CheckPoint meet their fundraising goal of $50,000. If you don’t want to host a stream, you can still tune in to some relaxing streams and donate to a great cause.
