After stepping down from CEO in August, Emre Can Deniz has announced his departure from Opaque Space.
Founding Opaque Space in 2017, the company has produced some of the most profound virtual reality experiences to date, including the multi-award winning Earthlight: Spacewalk and Earthlight: Lunar Mission, with the anticipated Earthlight: Lunar Hub to make its debut on December 17 at Scienceworks Victoria.
Discussing his departure, Emre said; “After 16 months, a couple of award-winning games, some actual space program stuff and working alongside some amazingly talented people, I stepped away from my role as CEO mid-2018 to focus on business development part-time, whilst still working on games as well as being all-round healthier/happier.”
“So, at the end of 2018, I have decided it’s time for me to move on to cause more trouble elsewhere. I can’t yet announce where I’m heading to next but I’m incredibly excited for 2019. Thanks to everyone that’s been a part of that journey and for helping me.”
