Today, ESL announced their plans to restructure their Asia-Pacific Japan (APJ) region, and announced the appointment of Nick Vanzetti and JB Hewitt as Managing Directors of the APJ region, as interim CEO Sebastian Radu steps down from the role.
Nick Vanzetti will also be taking on the role of Senior Vice President of the region, where he’ll oversea the ESL brand operations in Asia, with him relocating to the Singapore office in January 2019.
JB Hewitt will continue to manage the Australian offices, events and broadcast productions, however offices will begin operating under the new structure.
“Esports in the APJ region is seeing enormous growth, and by aligning our regional offices under this new structure we are positioning ESL to take full advantage of the opportunities that the market offers” said Nick Vanzetti, Senior Vice President of Asia-Pacific Japan at ESL.
This new restructure aligns with what ESL says is their commitment to expand its footprint in South East Asia, and bring esports to every corner of the world.
