Surprise Attack rebrands to Fellow Traveller

Indie games publishing label Surprise Attack have announced a rebranded company name, a new company focus, and a slew of discounts on their current games to celebrate the change.

As of today, Surprise Attack moving forward as Fellow Traveller.

Fellow Traveller are looking to push boundaries with narrative games and are announcing the signing of two tiles, Neo Cab and In Other Waters, to their impressive list of releases.

Speaking about the announcement, Managing Director Chris Wright said, “The flavour we are focusing on at Fellow Traveller is games that push at the edges of what narrative games can be, bringing fresh and unusual experiences and exploring untapped themes in ways only games can.”

“This is where our passion lies as a team and it is also a space that we feel has a huge amount of potential for small developers to explore. On our own label it’s games like Hacknet, Orwell or our latest signing, Neo Cab. Looking outside of our catalogue, it’s titles like Papers Please, Oxenfree, Gone Home or The Stanley Parable that would exemplify this style of game.”

Currently Fellow Traveller has nine titles in the pipeline through Q1 2020. Alongside this and the rebrand, the label has announced a number of discounts, 25-80% off their existing titles across Steam, GOG.com. Humble, Greenman Gaming, EA Origin, PSN, Xbox Store and the Nintendo eShop. You can check the website for more information.

Fellow Traveller will sit alongside Double Jump Communications, under the Surprise Attack umbrella.
