The Five by Five team based out of Sydney have released an infographic into how brands can navigate the esports scene and engage with audiences.
The infographic relates relationships between broadcasters, publishers, endemic and non-endemic brands, and other areas of esports.
Despite the popularity of games like Fortnight and Overwatch, Riot’s online Battle Arena game ‘League of Legends’ has the greatest connections across the esports landscape, followed by the Gfinity Elite Series.
Matt Lawton, Managing Director Five by Five Sydney says, “We work with many of the major games publishers but our work on League of Legends over the last 3 years in particular has given us a pretty unique perspective on esports.”
Lawton expects that it won’t be too long before the infographic will need to be updated. “A lot of brands have approached us asking for help navigating the landscape so we wanted to help make sense of it and publish this infographic for easy reference.”
