A Tweet sent out by GAME Australia has announced massive price cuts on a huge range of titles for both in-store and online sales.
The full list of titles on sale is available here, and includes price reductions of around 40% in some cases. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is being taken from $74 to $58, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations from $88 to $54, Asura’s Wrath from $64 to $54, and The Darkness II from $48 to $28.
The sale comes within days of the second creditor’s meeting, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 19th June.
PriceWaterhouseCoopers, GAME’s administrators, have been working hard to keep the company as ‘close to business as usual’ as possible while they attempt to find a way to keep it trading, actively negotiating with landlords on the company’s future.
Stay tuned for the final outcome of the GAME saga next Tuesday, when an announcement is expected as to whether PwC has been able to secure a buyer or not.
