Facilitating engagement with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, students learn vital skills for the future through designing, building and testing an original video game.
The Australian STEM Video Game Challenge aims to help engage Australian students with STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines in a new and exciting way. The event is held thanks to the Australian Council for Educational Research, whose ACER Foundation supports the Challenge.

Submissions for the 2018 challenge open July 23, at which point the judges will begin to assess each game in consideration of the challenge theme ‘Transformation’, and several marking criteria, with the winners of the challenge to be announced October 3rd.
