Ziff Davis Australia has announced that IGN and AskMen will both be established in India via Times Internet.
No specific launch date has been given as yet, but India currently sees almost 1 million unqiue users per month on the US version of IGN.
The new Indian IGN will combine local content and global, and comes into play alongside a growth period in games in India in 2012.
Satyan Gajwani, CEO of Times Internet, said: “We are really excited about this partnership with Ziff Davis to bring their brands to India. The IGN name is incredibly respected, and this brings us the opportunity to create premium editorial and video content for the Indian gaming community.”
