“Do one thing in every day, that makes it worth being awake!”, is the ‘No Hands No Excuses’ motto, a channel dedicated to making the most of every day despite the challenges and obstacles in our path. For twitch streamer and content creator Humphrey, better known as No Hands, this means having fun, living, working and loving life despite, as you might have guessed, him having… No Hands.
Read on to learn more about Humphrey, and how he tackles gaming and content creation despite his disability;
What kind of content do you create?
On my Twitch, I currently spend most of the time playing Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds, but I also love sneaking in a little Far Cry 5 at the moment. On YouTube I create a vlog, showing people that if a guy with no hands can get out there, make the most of life, and make videos about it – you can do anything!
What drives your passion for gaming?
I started gaming as a way to escape from the real world for a while, to put aside my disability issues and just have fun. Now I game for that and much more – I game to show the world that if I can do this, anyone can. Gaming helps me spread my message of motivation to the world, plus it’s a great outlet for my competitive side – after all, it’s not like I can pick up a football and get aggressive on the field!
What do you love most about being a content creator?
Being able to inspire and motivate people. I feel so honoured when someone tells me that I’ve helped them realise they can achieve their goals.
What are your plans for future content?
I’m excited about growing this community. My plans for content creation are to just keep creating! Twitch Streaming, Vlogging, creating videos for myself and others, I just wish I had more time to do everything! Hopefully someday soon this will be what I do full-time.
