Contributing games journalist, and wrestling super fan Leah Williams joins the Pedestrian team as their new Writer & Producer across Kotaku, Gizmodo, and Lifehacker Australia.
A familiar face across Australian and New Zealand gaming and pop-culture publications, Leah has previously written for sites including IGN Australia, The Au Review, The Iris, and more. Williams brings her experience working with these leading publications to the Pedestrian team, following on from her previous role at PMP Limited as their Junior Content Creator.
Heavily involved in the local Australian, and broader wrestling community, Williams has become has built on her love of the sport to become a featured designer and creator of original wrestling gear. Her creations reaching across borders, even featuring in Japanese Pro Wrestling magazines.
Speaking with MCV Pacific, Leah said; “Joining the team at Pedestrian Group and working across Kotaku, Gizmodo and Lifehacker has always been a personal goal of mine. Kotaku was actually the first place I ever pitched freelance work to. I was rejected then, but they can’t escape me now!”
