In 2012, fresh out university, Cait joined Web Summit, he company that is responsible for the largest startup tech conference in the world. In hear five year tenure with the company, McEnery progress from a finance department intern to the WP of the Live Events team – leading a team of 16-people to produce the first Web Summit held outside of Dublin, in Lisbon.
Outside of the Web Summit event, as a part of her time within the company, Cait produced high-end gatherings to 6,000 person startup tech conferences across the globe in New York, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, London and Bangalore.
In 2017, Cait joined Gfinity Esports Australia, making the move to the other side of the globe to act as Head of Live Events and Production. A part of the core team, she is working towards building a reputation for their organization, as Australia and NZ’s most trusted gaming and esports entertainment provider.
Outside of her professional work, Cait has volunteered with Medal Mission group, which aims to build relationships with members of the homeless community, with a view to providing companionship and encouragement towards seeking a life off the streets. Additionally, Cait is in the process of training to be a part of Surf Lifesaving Australia.
