Kesh got his start with EB Games over a decade ago, joining the retailer at store level in October 2008 as a Retail Associate.
Four years late Gohil would be promoted to Customer Service Representative, spending two year’s in the role before joining EB’s community team in head office. Working alongside a number of 30 Under Thirty allumni, Kesh joined the retailer’s social team as a Community Representative. In February 2017, Kesh would be promoted to Video Content & Social Media Coordinator, before just five months later, he would be promoted again to his current role – Social Media & Content Supervisor.
A highlight for Gohil was taking home Community Team of the Year at the 2018 MCV Pacific Awards, as well as a nod from his peer’s, winning the EB Games Vitality Award. But top of Kesh’s achievement list for 2018 was managing EB Games Starlight Week. He and the team would smash their $750,000 goal, raising over $835,000 for their partner charity, the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Speaking to MCV Pacific about his inclusion in this year’s list, Kesh said,”It is a huge honour to be included in this years MCV Top 30 Under 30 list. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know almost everyone included this year, and it’s amazing to see their hard work and dedication being recognised.”
“When I told my Dad that I had made it, he asked “Why aren’t you at the top of the list?”. When I told him it was alphabetical, he said “That’s no excuse”. One day he will be proud of me.”
