A member of our 2018 Women In Games List, Pritika Sachdev has continued her amazing work with games mental health charity, CheckPoint.
Since we profiled Pritika for the Women In Games List, has continued as the Social Media and Community Co-ordinator at CheckPoint and as Social Media Coordinator at the Freeplay Independent Games Festival. At the former, Sachdev was appointed to the board of CheckPoint and, of course, was a finalist in the Campaigner of the Year at the 2018 Women In Games Awards presented by Xbox.
In addition to her previous volunteer work with the RMIT Games Graduate Exhibition (2014), the Freeplay Independent Games Festival (2015) and Unite Australia (2015 – 2016), Pritika sat on the 2019 Global Game Jam Theme Committee.
Speaking to MCV Pacific on her inclusion in this year’s 30 Under Thirty, Sachdev said, “I’m incredibly honoured to be included in this year’s cohort, it’s such an amazing group of people! A huge shoutout to my family, friends and coworkers who have supported and encouraged me along the way. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.”
