Welcome to MCV Pacific – and a new era in games trade media for the region. If that sounds rather grand, then please forgive and indulge us, but we’re rather excited about this launch – and hope that very soon you will be as well.
The aim of MCV Pacific is simple: to become a trusted and prolific resource for news affecting all games industry sectors; concentrating initially on Australia and New Zealand and then expanding to encompass every region.
At its core is this very website, supported by an array of editorial email services, which you can sign up for here.
Over the weeks months and years ahead, we will talk to and about retailers, developers, publishers, format holders, distributors, media brands and service companies.
We will break news, provide data and share opinions.
We will promote products and spark debate.
We will interview the most senior executives in the business – and drill down into the detail of your marketing campaigns.
We will also be window on the territory for the wider world, particularly through its relationship with MCV UK, which has a global readership of around half a million and will carry a permanent link to MCV Pacific.
MCV Pacific’s editor is Leigh Harris. Our sales and marketing exec is Guy Blomberg. If you haven’t heard from them yet, you will soon. They want MCV Pacific to be part of the industry it reports on – working with you to provide insight and understanding as well as a platform for products and services.
