In addition to starting a proper games channel with MMGN and Digital Agency Mi9, Ninemsn also mentioned a view to selling games.
In the artilce on Influencing yesterday, Hal Crawford, Editor-in-Chief of Ninemsn, was quoted as saying that “[a] long term plan is the ability to purchase and sell games and associated products.”
While yet another e-tailer is hardly breaking news these days, the kind of clout Ninemsn brings should make them a relatively big player in a relatively (as yet) small market.
The new games section GamesFIX is slated to launch in mid-December.
