Utilizing cutting edge material innovation in combination with its own portable console, Nintendo is bringing the unlikely worlds of cardboard and virtual reality together to bring virtual worlds to life.
Paint like an elephant, or soar like a bird when you purchase one of two new VR expansions launching for Nintendo Labo on April 12th.
Both expansion set’s one, and two will retail for AU$29.95. The first including the components needed to build the Toy-Con Elephant and Toy-Con Camera, and the second including all the parts to build the Toy-Con Wind Pedal and Toy-Con Bird.
Two starter kits will launch alongside the expansion packs in anticipation of the releases popularity;
- Nintendo Labo: VR Kit Complete (RRP AU$119.95): Includes the Nintendo Switch software and materials to build all six Toy-Con projects as well as a Screen Holder and Safety Cap.
- Nintendo Labo: VR Kit – Starter Set + Blaster (RRP AU$59.95): Includes the Nintendo Switch software, plus all the components to build the Toy-Con VR Goggles and Toy-Con Blaster, as well as the Screen Holder and Safety Cap.
Labo’s in-game programming tool, Toy-Con Garage returns in the with new expansions, allowing players to create their own VR games and experiences. Included in the VR Kit is over 60 mini-games to explore, all created using the Toy-Con Garage, made to inspire players to jump in and create their own.
