Nintendo’s recent revenue report has revealed another milestone for their popular portable console.
The Nintendo Switch has officially outsold the Gamecube, selling over 22 million base Switch units in total after 3.19 million Switch units were sold in the previous quarter. In its six-year lifespan, the Nintendo GameCube sold over 21 million base units.
Nintendo has a lot in store for the Switch in the next few months, with the console having several bundle releases scheduled, as well as a plethora of first-party titles and third-party AAA titles headed to the console. Nintendo also launched their online Switch service in late September.
