The NZGDA has sent out their final newsletter for 2018, with the announcement that Michael Vermeulen will be stepping down as chairperson after accepting the role of Design Director at A44.
Vermeulen says that he’ll be available to the NZGDA to help transition current board member and new chairperson Cassandra Gray into the role, who will take over the position immediately. He adds, “it’s been a privilege to have led two amazing teams that helped shape and build support for the NZ Games Industry over the last couple of years.”
As the NZGDA recently had a meeting to decide its new board, the results of that meeting were used to decide who would fill Cassandra’s place. It is pleased to welcome Mead Robertson to the board.
