Both Xbox and Nintendo are set to have a large stand presence at this year’s event, but where is the other first party?
Following the release of the 2014 show map yesterday, a resounding question was heard far and wide over the internet.
MCV Pacific reached out to Sony Computer Entertainment Australia earlier today, and a company spokesperson issued the following statement;
“PAX Aus is a great initiative and we are in full support of its progress. While SCE Australia doesn’t have a standalone booth this year, we are supporting the organisers, our friends at Media Molecule and other third party partners. We are looking forward to seeing the show succeed and increasing our presence in the future.”
PAX Aus 2014, will be at an all new venue, with over 150 exhibitors attending, but the question remains, will not having the largest selling next gen console and it’s impressive 2015 line up on display effect the feel of the event?
In addition to PlayStation, other noticeable absentees are Activision, Blizzard, Rockstar Games, Turtle Beach and a dedicated Electronic Arts Expo Hall Stand.
