Picnic enthusiasts and Mixer partner Pixel Party announced in a TwitLonger post that they’re dissolving their stream team as they restructure for bigger and better things in 2019.
The post, which can be seen here, goes over the decision the team made to relaunch in 2019 with a more structured support system, which will help the new ‘Pixel Party Pals’ with their online and offline goals.
It also means that the team can scout for new sponsors for 2019 to bring in new members and make more content.
Kitty from Pixel Party tells The Influence, “The whole core team discussed this and let me reassure you all this is not a negative decision. We sincerely and truly believe we can make the team even better and provide more support. The community will always be the heart of our decisions. Bring on 2019!
Just to be clear, @PixelPartyAU isn’t ending, not even close! Just with everything that’s happened lately we want to rethink what our relationship with streaming as a platform is and what we can do for our team. We will still be doing content and events we just want a fresh start pic.twitter.com/fbwngnBjqn

While we’re sad to see no more picnics in 2018, we can’t see who gets on board with Pixel Party in 2019 and just what they’ve got in store for next year!
