Professor Layton is solving his way onto Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has announced the launch of Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy – Deluxe Edition will land on Australian shelves on November 8th.

Having previously launched on the Nintendo 3Ds, the game will become the first game in the franchise’s history to launch onto the Nintendo Switch, thus becoming the first time Layton fans will be able to solve puzzles and mysteries on their tv, or on the go.

The upcoming title includes all the puzzles, outfits and more that fans have come to expect from the Layton franchise, including;

  • New Puzzles: This Deluxe Edition includes more than 40 brand-new puzzles and additionally, some puzzles from the Nintendo 3DS version have been refined.
  • Improved Layout and Enhanced Graphics: The key information for each puzzle is now viewable on one screen, and all graphics have received an HD overhaul.
  • Unlocked DLC: Content that was previously released as paid DLC, including the “Daddy’s Girl” and “Luke Lookalike” outfits, is unlocked from the beginning.
  • New Outfits: More than 50 new outfits have been added, all of which can be obtained through gameplay.

Making use of the Nintendo Switch’s multitude of input methods, the new version allows for the full range of refined puzzles and challenges from the 3DS version to come across to the new platform, alongside 40 new puzzles.

The game will launch for Nintendo Switch on November 8th, 2019. You can learn more about the previously released 3DS version by visiting the Nintendo Website.
