Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Siege has exceeded 30 Million registered players across all platforms. And with the rising success of the Siege esports scene, this is but another stepping stone for the multiplayer shooter.
With over 6.2 million hours view time across the globe, and a whopping 321,000 concurrent viewers of the 2018 Six Invitational, Rainbow Six Siege is becoming one of the biggest esports titles to date.
“On behalf of the entire team, we wanted to thank every member of our diverse, global community for their support of our game. Our players are the most valuable element to our game. Over the last three years we have endeavoured to create a solid community built on transparency as we grow and evolve the ever-expanding world of Rainbow Six Siege,” said Alexandre Remy, Brand Director, Rainbow Six Siege.
With new content releasing each season, and a goal of 100 operators (in-game character classes) to be introduced to Siege, the game has years of meaningful content additions on the horizon.
“We are so tremendously honoured to achieve this milestone, and we will continue to do everything we can to earn each and every new person that decides to play.” Remy continued.
