Announced today, Ubisoft has partnered with LetsPlay.Live to host the first ever New Zealand Rainbow Six: Siege LAN event.
The new LPL PRO Six Oceanic Cup NZ Qualifier is the first time Ubisoft and LetsPlay.Live have worked together. Introducing of an entirely new roster of players into Oceanic Rainbow Six esports.
The new cup kicks off this February, with open qualifiers scheduled for Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th of February. The finals will take place live at LPL Studios in the Sky Tower, Auckland, on February 23rd, where the winner will take home the lions share of a $1000 prize pool.

The LPL PRO Six Oceanic Cup NZ Qualifier will be an incredible opportunity for our regional gamers to bring their skills into the spotlight and offer a potential pathway into competitive esports.”
The top two teams from the LPL PRO Six Oceanic Cup NZ Qualifier will both qualify to compete in the Six Oceanic Cup, a two week, single elimination, Bo3 tournament where the top 8 teams from across Australia and now New Zealand will compete for an unannounced prize pool this March.
