Rockstar Games have announced details about their open-world online companion game for Red Dead Redemption 2.
Red Dead Online is “an evolution of the classic multiplayer experience in the original Red Dead Redemption, blending narrative with competitive and cooperative gameplay in fun new ways,” according to the announcement on the Rockstar Games blog.
Planned for November 2018 as a public beta, Rockstar Games are looking to work with the community to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. IGN spoke to Imran Sarwar, Director of Design at Rockstar North, and Josh Needleman, Senior Producer at Rockstar San Diego about the upcoming online experience in an interview which gives more insight into what’s in store for players.
Red Dead Online will be available to anyone with a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2, which launches on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 26, 2018.
