Joining the local ReedPOP team as Content Coordinator, Naoum will work to curate the content, culture, and community surrounding ReedPOP’s PAX Aus and Oz Comic-Con events.
Naoum first broke into the industry as part of the launch team for GenerOZity, working with the local gaming and streaming communities to deliver Australia’s premier gaming charity event. And brings his experience from his time at Pinstripe Media, where he worked closely with partners on delivering digital marketing solutions.
In addition to his professional work, Naoum also runs I Speak Giant, one of Australia’s leading D&D actual-play podcasts, and contributed to the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons Acquisitions Incorporated book, leveraging his experience from working with the Australian Writers’ Guild.
Speaking with MCV Pacific, Naoum said, “I’m outrageously excited to be the Content Coordinator at ReedPOP. I’m looking forward to working with the wonderful and diverse group of people that make Oz Comic-Con and PAX Aus happen — which isn’t just the team, but every single person who attends. I hope to see you at the next show. I’ll be the nervous (but excited) one.”
Luke Lancaster, the PAX Aus and Oz Comic-Con Content Manager, said “it’s a challenge to find people who have the right mix of experience, passion, and personality to help shape out events. Bringing PAX and Comic-Con to the community is a huge undertaking, responsibility, and honour. Thankfully, we managed to trick Zac in to agreeing to be a part of it. We’re all incredibly excited to see what he brings to the team.”
Zac is set to join the ReedPOP team on Monday, June 3.
