Come September 20th, esports finds itself on the big screen yet again, when the UK FACEIT CS:GO Major goes live on Sky Sports.
Over 20 million people tuned in worldwide to the catch the challenger stage, setting expectations at an all-time high for the upcoming major on September 20-23.
The top teams from around the world are competing at the event, fighting their way to claim the grand prize of a massive $1 million prize pool. The partnership becomes the first time Sky Sports has broadcast competitive CS:GO.
Content will include an exclusive one-hour documentary outlining the road to the Major and the live broadcast of the finals on skysports.com, and Sky Sports’ YouTube and Facebook channels, from September 20 to 23. A highlights programme capturing the most exciting plays from the finals will also air after the event at 11pm on Sky Two.
