Tickets are now available to this year’s New Zealand Game Developers Conference, taking place 1-3 Aug 2018, the three-day event will explore the theme ‘From Small Beginnings’.
“We all know great ideas can come from small beginnings. We’ve seen game jam games become global successes, and small teams grow to large studios. This year at NZGDC18 we want to reflect on where we’ve come from and inspire the next great ideas.”
The biggest conference for games developers in New Zealand, spanning three days including a day dedicated to hands-on workshops (1st August), and two days full with a mix of presentations and panels. Talks will cover a variety of disciplines such as design, art, audio, programming, production, storytelling, and VR/AR/MR.
Harry Nesbitt, lead artist and programmer from Team Alto, a collaboration with the Toronto-based studio, Snowman, has been revealed as the NZGDC18 Keynote speaker and is the first among many who’ll be giving talks at this year’s event.
