State of Decay 2 survivors clear out 2 billion zombies

Over 2 million players have taken on the undead in less than 2 weeks since State of Decay 2 launched globally, and Xbox has revealed what it’s new survivors have gotten up to.

The now two billion dead zombies were eliminated by just two million survivors playing in just the first 2 weeks of release, to put that huge number into perspective, that’s 26% of the entire population of humans on earth cleared in a fortnight.

Along the way, survivors have completed over 121,000 community stories, the figures shed light on the number of dedicated fans the game has, and Xbox have said they’re working hard on bringing player’s bug fixes, gameplay tweaks, and quality of life improvements as the game moves forward.

State of Decay 2 is part of the Xbox Game Pass, and as an Xbox Play Anywhere game, one digital purchase gets you both the Xbox One and the Windows 10 version of the game.
