Xbox ANZ has today announced Tania Chee as the new Xbox Category Lead, Australia and New Zealand, with Jeremy Hinton set to further his focus on the Asia Region.
After almost five years leading the Xbox ANZ business, Jeremy was appointed Xbox Asia Business Director in 2017, over-seeing Australia and New Zealand and extending his responsibilities into key markets including Japan, Korea, South East Asia and India.
Tania, having recently returned from maternity leave, is now set to drive the ANZ sub-region for the Xbox business. Tania has been with Xbox across various roles including Xbox Live and ANZ Platform lead in both the UK and Australia for close to a decade.
“I am thrilled that Tania will now be leading the Xbox ANZ business, continuing to accelerate our growth after an incredible year in 2017. Tania has been such an integral ingredient to our success across Australia over the past seven years, and I could not be happier she’s stepping into this new role,” said Jeremy Hinton.
Tania said, “Having been part of Team Xbox for ten years and working on the Australian business for the past seven, I could not be more excited about taking on this new challenge and leading the team. It is a truly exciting time to be working in gaming at Microsoft, and I look forward to driving our business efforts with partners as well as continuing to engage and delight Xbox fans.”
Tania will oversee all areas of Xbox’s go-to-market strategy in Australia and New Zealand including planning and insights as well as integration across sales and marketing functions.
