After almost 17 years with Village Roadshow, Worsley has recently launched her own specialised entertainment marketing agency, The Modernists.
Toya had boasts two decades of experience in gaming and filmed entertainment marketing across cinema and home entertainment – both digital (EST, VOD) and physical distribution.
Toya was most recently Marketing Director for Roadshow Films & TV ANZ, leading category, brand and product marketing efforts for global entertainment suppliers including Warner Brothers, HBO, Village Roadshow and their brands such as DC, The Wizarding World and Game of Thrones.
Speaking with MCV Pacific, Toya said, “From my own personal experience client side, leading a large entertainment marketing team, dealing with a number of agencies – it was clear the pendulum had swung too far towards specialisation, and as a result, the output was becoming increasingly disconnected from the bigger picture.”
