The fourth annual Twitch community convention will head to San Jose, playing out at the McEnery Convention Center from October 26-28.
Twitch has once again invited its community of creators, developers, publishers, fans, and industry partners, to network, attend industry and community-driven panel sessions, participate in live events, explore relevant products at exhibitor booths, and celebrate all things Twitch.
“TwitchCon has continued to grow year over year with our diverse and inclusive community playing a major role in defining the content through their feedback and participation in on-site activities,” said Krystal Herring, Director of TwitchCon.
“As with our previous three conventions, we are keeping things fresh with a new location. And since San Jose has a proven track record of successfully holding major events with plenty of great places to eat and stay, it’s exciting to give our attendees a new city to explore for all of the expected community meetups.”
Only steps away from downtown and the San Jose Diridon Caltrain station, the San Jose McEnery Convention Center underwent a $130-million renovation in recent years, ensuring a state-of-the-art experience for attendees.
To assist with accommodations, Twitch has secured a limited number of reduced-rate hotel rooms near the convention center. Since rooms at the group rate are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, attendees are encouraged to book early for the best selection and price through Twitch’s online booking system located at TwitchCon.com.
Additional TwitchCon 2018 details will be revealed in the coming months, including ticket sales, call-for-content, spotlight Partners, exhibitors, new experiences, the programming schedule, and more.
