The 6th Women in Games Development Sydney meet-up is being held this September with panellists from various disciplines available to share their experience in the games industry.
The Women in Games Development meet-ups are designed to help budding games developers discuss the process of releasing a game in a small team, or by yourself, and discuss the mistakes made by the panellists in the past.
For the next Sydney meet-up, the panellists include Yunni Goder, co-founder of Delusional Games which puts their creative focus towards Otome Visual Novels, Pewka Zilla, a visual artist with an interest in exploring the relationship between art and games beyond aesthetics and into mechanics and player experience, and Nicola Best who will discuss the HenryVR Exhibition which was shown at the Art Gallery of NSW which allowed people to explore the Tudor period and experience the restoration process the gallery went through.
MCV Women in Games list nominee Emilie Poissenot will host the panel and provide her wealth of experience to topics.
You can RSVP to the event via the brand new WIGDS website. You can join the panel on September 20 at 6 pm at the Sydney Start Up Hub on York Street.
