After graduating RMIT with a Certificate IV in Design in 2011, Pritika followed her passion and completed a Bachelor of Design (Games) specialising as a 3D artist before getting her Honours in Game and Interactive Media Design in 2015.
In May of the following year, Pritika joined GameSoft Publishing as their Social Media Manager. There she helped launch Clockwork. After guiding the game through a successful Steam Greenlight campaign, Pritika continued to raise awareness about the game through communicating with the community, tracking audience trends and using hashtags and targeting tools to continue to grow.
After 6-months with the developer, Pritika left, continuing to work as a Freelance Community Manager, and focused on co-producing the Contours Exhibition. The exhibition charted the fringes of videogames in Melbourne and Australia.
In May of 2017 Pritika took on her current role, Social Media and Community Manager at CheckPoint. Here Pritika would act as a driving force behind the successful Kickstarter campaign for “The CheckPoint Series”
Additionally Pritika has worked as the Social Media and Awards Coordinator at GCAP 2017, Social Media Coordinator at the Freeplay Independent Games Festival this year and became a Board member for WiDGET earlier this year. She has spoken across to PAX Australia Panels, hosted an online talk about Self Care at #nonoFoMo and moderated a panel on Storytelling and Visual Novels at the Freeplay Independent Games Festival.
Speaking to MCV Pacific, Pritika said, “I’m blown away to be included on this years list! It is an absolute honour to be standing alongside so many strong figures in this industry.”
