Allowing local players to experience the game that started it all without fear of network or connectivity issues, World of Warcraft Classic will launch with Oceanic Servers.
The servers won’t just serve to ensure a smooth gameplay experience, but will allow better connectivity between Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia like never before, literally! Blizzard only introduced local servers for the main game in 2014.
This remastered version of the popular title will see thousands of passionate new players able to experience the World of Warcraft experience that started it all.
The names of the Oceanic realms are yet to be announced, planned to be revealed ahead of name reservations on August 13, with the full game available from August 26th, 2019.
We will have Oceanic realms for WoW Classic, with game servers hosted in Australia, at launch on 27 August! 🇦🇺 🇳🇿
