Following the opening of their large scale VR arenas in Brisbane last July, Zero Latency has today announced that they have extended their game sessions in Brisbane to 1-hour experiences, including two games.
In Brisbane on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, Zero Latency have introduced off-peak pricing, so players can enjoy the longer, more diverse experiences for less.
Zero Latency’s concept is deeply immersive. Equipped with virtual reality headsets, headphones, microphones, military-styled backpacks and a replica weapon (for shooter games), players move freely around an empty warehouse: but what they see and hear are hyper realistic, virtually-generated worlds, where all their movements are replicated in game. Players see each other as full-motion avatars and can warn, strategise and banter with their mates in games designed for groups of friends, families, parties and corporates.
Tim Ruse, CEO of Zero Latency said, “There’s nothing in the world that compares to our experience right now, so it’s exciting to offer longer and more diverse sessions of it to people in Brisbane who are known for their appreciation of quality entertainment.”
The four experiences include:
- Engineerium – Perfect for first-timers and virtual reality experimenters. Ease you and your mates into VR through this avatar-like, fantasy world walking adventure.
- Zombie Survival – Picture this: you’re bunkered in a fort and surrounded by masses of zombies. Can you and your friends stay alive until the rescue team comes? An experience for thrill seekers.
- Singularity – Ever wondered how you’ll fair against killer robots and rogue drones? You and your mates will investigate a secret military space station that’s gone dark.
- Outbreak Origins – Prepare yourself for epic battles. A deadly virus is wreaking havoc, creating hordes of zombies that are taking over the cities. The dead are walking, and your squad needs to do something quick.
